Fine Art Catalogue › Lifted

Lifted

from US$98.00

From the series: The Rebuilt Horizon: An Inventory of Absence and Light

Currently exhibiting internationally at the PORTRAIT exhibition (Goddessarts Gallery, Germany), Kintsugi has been extended by popular demand through April 2026.

In Lifted, the subject looks into the distance with a slight, graceful twist, evoking a profound sense of peace and forward-looking clarity. She is no longer burdened; she is at home in her body.

During the creative process, the hand-applied salt and gold mica powder formed what the artist describes as "unintended wings"—a spontaneous visual metaphor for the lightness that follows the labor of healing. This piece captures the precise threshold where the weight of the past transforms into the momentum of the future. It is the visual "Aha!" moment of the Rebuilt Horizon.

Medium: Museum-grade Giclée Print on 310gsm Archival Cotton Rag.

Collector’s Note

  • Provenance: Currently on international display in Germany (Extended May 2026).

  • Publication: Featured in the fine art book The Rebuilt Horizon: An Inventory of Absence and Light.

ARTS TO HEARTS

Philanthropy & Community Mentorship

Empowering the Next Generation of Artists

The Bloubergrant High School Legacy Project (2024 – Present) > Grace serves as a Mentor for the Bloubergrant High School Photography Club. This residency program goes beyond technical skills, teaching students from the Conceptualization of an idea to the Process of Creativity throughout Art Photography.

The 2026 Vision: > Our goal is to empower students to transition from "taking photos" to "creating a corpus of work." By teaching them sponsorship and marketing skills, the program aims to help the club become self-sustaining, ensuring that every student has access to the equipment they need to tell their story.

“We aren't just building photographers; we are building visual storytellers and future entrepreneurs.”
