I’m Grace—photographer, visual poet, and steward of quiet transformation. Based in Cape Town, my practice is a bridge between the precision of my background in Sciences Education (M.Sc., Paris) and the soft, layered beauty of conceptual fine art.
“DPhotImages is more than a studio name”; it’s a space where light and story intertwine. Through Divine Portraits, The Well of Creativity, and my signature explorations of texture and shadow, I help people see themselves—often for the first time—with tenderness and truth.
The Philosophy: The Rebuilt Horizon
Guided by faith, curiosity, and a love for "creative repair," my work explores the transition from absence to presence. I incorporate the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi into the photographic medium, using hand-applied salt crystallization, gold mica, and physical stitching to honor the history of the "break."
Whether I am capturing a sacred milestone or mentoring the next generation of visual storytellers at local high schools, I believe each image is a wellspring—drawn from depth, offered in grace.
My practice is rooted in Cape Town, yet my narrative of 'creative repair' has found a global resonance. From the Goddessarts Gallery in Germany to the 101 Art Book Photography Edition, my work continues to invite an international audience into the quiet, golden transition of the Rebuilt Horizon.
